You don't need to train like a 25-year-old. You also don't need to accept "slowing down" as a plan. You need a smarter approach, run consistently, with a coach who's doing it himself.
Muscle you don't use, you lose. Most of my guys train four or five days a week, with the volume and recovery set up so they can keep coming back.
Train less as you age
After 50, staying healthy beats chasing a max. We choose joint-friendly exercises and rep ranges that build muscle without beating you up.
Go heavy or go home
Most guys don't need a fancy diet. They need to stop the snacks, drinks and bites they aren't counting. That's where the gut comes from.
You need a new diet
Busy professionals, dads and grandfathers. Most had never been in the best shape of their lives until they worked with Bryan. Real clients, shared with permission. Individual results vary with effort, consistency and starting point.

I have a 33″ waist now, something I haven’t seen since I was in high school and I am 55 years old.

Bryan is the most hands-on online coach I've ever experienced.
You talk to me before you commit to anything. If coaching is a fit, your plan is built around your body, your schedule and your life. If it isn't, I'll tell you.
Tell me your goals, how you train now, your schedule and any injuries. I read every application myself.
Book a free 15-minute call. We look at where you are and where you want to be, and decide together if coaching is the right fit. No payment is taken on the call.
Training built around your body, equipment and schedule. Nutrition that fits real life. Regular check-ins with me, and changes as you progress.

I'm Bryan Krahn, a certified strength and conditioning specialist (C.S.C.S.), a Men's Health contributor and the author of its Max Muscle at 50 program. I'm in my 50s, I train the way I coach, and I'm in the best shape of my life.
I help normal guys look extraordinary. I know what it's like to lift with a stiff back, a full calendar and a body that recovers slower than it used to. My job is to give you a plan that respects all of that and still gets results.
No off-the-shelf packages. Your plan is built around you, and we work out what it looks like together on a free call.
Most guys don't need a brand new diet. They need to stop sneaking in calories they aren't counting. The free Over 50 Muscle Diet Blueprint starts with a two-to-three-week reset:
No snacks between meals
No alcohol
No sweets or desserts
No added oils, creamy dressings or mystery sauces
No bites while cooking, and no finishing your kid's leftovers

Straight answers to the questions I hear most. Anything else, ask me on a free call.
No. Men who haven't trained in years often have the most to gain. We start where you are, build the habit first, and add load as your body adapts.
That's who this is built for. We choose joint-friendly exercises and rep ranges, and we never train through pain: if a movement hurts, we swap it. Share your history in the application. If you have an active injury that needs rehab, get cleared by your doctor or physio first.
Most of my guys train four or five days a week. I prefer shorter, more frequent sessions (around 40 minutes) over long ones, and your plan includes backup workouts for busy or low-energy days.
Your plan is built around the equipment you have. We go through your setup on the call.
No. Most guys don't need a new diet. They need to stop the calories they aren't counting: snacks, drinks and bites. Your nutrition fits real life, dinners out and travel included. You will learn how to track your intake.
You work with me, not a generic copy/paste output. Your plan is written specifically for you, I review your check-ins, and I adjust it as you go. No templates and no group programs.
It depends on the support you need, duration, and your personal goals. We cover options and pricing on your free call. There's no pressure, and no obligation on the call.
Yes. You can work with me from anywhere. I upload your plan into my training app so you have access to it wherever you are.
